Betha Christopher is a fully licensed Musikgarten teacher, a National Musikgarten Teacher Trainer and a Level I Certified ECMMA member. She earned a Bachelor of Music from DePauw University in Indiana, and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Boston University. Now, most of Betha's performances are at the command of her three children, and include silly songs, lullabies, and dances.
"Because I can see the wonderful benefits of music in my own children, I am delighted to offer the Musikgarten program to the families of State College! I bring over 20 years of experience with young children, as a children's choir director, nanny, nursery director, preschool music teacher, and mother. I hope that your family will join me soon to sing, dance and experience music together."
Betha also teaches Music Together.
Paul Kim earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, worked as a recording engineer and performer for over 10 years, and has been a cellist for more than 30 years. After watching his toddler daughter blossom musically during her first semester of Musikgarten, he realized what a powerful child development program it is, and he jumped at the chance to come on board. Mr Paul is now a licensed Musikgarten teacher, looking forward to helping parents bring out the musical ability in their own children. He is also certified as a Suzuki Cello instructor and is excited to be offering cello lessons as part of the State College Suzuki Program.
