WEATHER:
If the public school system is closed due to bad weather, Betha's Musik will also be closed. This may include afternoon and evening classes.  Every attempt will be made to make up missed classes, but cannot be guaranteed.  If public school is operating on a delayed schedule, we will be open and classes will run as scheduled.  (Siblings may attend these classes.)

POLICIES:
All families are encouraged to attend a Parent Orientation Meeting, scheduled for Thursday, Sept 20 at 7:30 pm - OR - Saturday, Sept 22 at 1:00 pm.  This valuable meeting allows parents the chance to learn more about Musikgarten, and the best ways to help you child learn and grow.

IN THE CLASS:
Please try to be on time.

Dress for “moving and dancing!”

Food, toys or other "distractions" often cause problems rather than provide comfort when brought into music class. Since another child might want your child’s drink or stuffed animal, it is often easier to leave those things at home or in the car.

Older siblings may sit in an adjoining room with a book or other quiet activity.

FEES:
All checks should be made payable to Betha Christopher. Payment can be dropped into the Tuition Envelope inside the classroom door or can be mailed to: 617 Berkshire Drive  State College, PA 16803

There is a $10/family, non-refundable Registration Fee due at the time of registration, in order to hold your place in the class. After materials have been ordered, they are yours to enjoy, and are non-refundable. Tuition will be reimbursed up to 50% if your child must withdraw before 50% of the classes in a given session* have been taught. (*Baby/Toddler/Cycles 15 weeks; Music Makers/Young Musicians/Keyboard 30 weeks)  There is a $10 cancellation fee for all classes.

Tuition payments are due January 15, 2019 for the Spring 2019 Classes.

OBSERVATIONS:
Understand that all children learn at different rates and in different ways.  Some children will be quiet in class, others will be active.  Some children will do everything perfectly at home, but not in class.  As a parent, you know that every child is unique, so check your comparisons at the door and let the music work it's magic!
